As a College Recruit

A mauling run-blocker on Friday nights. Mows opposing defensive linemen at the point of attack and linebackers at the second level. Has broad shoulders and a strong frame. Went from 275 pounds to 325 pounds prior to his senior season. Sports an 81-inch wingspan at 6-foot-3 to go with large hands. The length aids in pass protection. Posted advanced weight room numbers as a senior. Will be physically ready to answer the bell from day one at the Power 5 level. Always looks to hit. Packs initial punch in the run game. A second level winner in space without being an elite athlete at the position. Maximum effort blocker through the whistle. A three-sport athlete who throws the shot put and was dunking in basketball prior to focusing on football as a junior.

Charles Power

Campbell is an athletic mauler. He has been mowing opposing defensive linemen and linebackers in the run game for a few seasons at Arlington (Texas) Bowie. The 6-foot-3, 320-pounder gets to the second level with ease and is a nasty block finisher. He also has good length and movement skills as a pass protector. We saw this show up on the camp circuit, with Campbell faring well against pass rushers in one-on-one drills.
