Virginia Tech coach Brent Pry knows he can count on Dorian Strong to do a lot of things well, but what makes him stand out above the others? "Consistency," Pry said. "You're going to have to show me a corner who plays more consistently week in and week out in his coverage." Pry has a point. Heading into the 2023 season, Strong boasts 80 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss and a whopping 27 passes defended. In 2023, Strong became just the second FBS cornerback since 2014 with 300-plus coverage snaps gave up less than 10 receptions and less than 100 yards receiving in a season. For his efforts, he was named an All-ACC third-team selection.
