Rare build for off-ball linebacker who possesses elite length for the position. Stands in at nearly 6-foot-5, 200 pounds with a 6-foot-7 wingspan. Explosive athlete who ran an electronically-timed 1.69 10-yard split, 4.49 shuttle and jumped a 31-inch vertical during the spring camp circuit prior to his senior season. Unbelievable athletic ability to play in space. Has the footwork, change of direction and hip fluidity to play man in the slot. Tremendous burst and ability to close to the football. Violent tackler, more of a striker so will need to clean up tackling technique. Diagnoses and triggers downhill quickly. Tends to duck and dip blockers as opposed to stacking and shedding. Will need at least a year in order to gain necessary weight to become an every down backer. Ceiling is through the roof if he can maintain athleticism after adding mass.
