As a Recruit
Personal Life
Felix Anudike-Uzomah was an On3 Consensus three-star recruit coming out of Lee’s Summit (Missouri) High School in the 2020 recruiting class. He picked Kansas State over Northern Iowa, Tulsa, North Dakota State and South Dakota and was a real recruiting find for the Wildcats. Anudike-Uzomah enters the 2022 season ranked second nationally in forced fumbles per game (0.33) and third in sacks per game (0.67). He is also three forced fumbles shy of tying the school’s career record, while he is 6.5 sacks away from entering K-State’s career top-10 list. Anudike-Uzomah was one of only nine true freshmen to see playing time for K-State in 2020. He had a breakout 2021 season – earning third-team All-America honors and first-team All-Big 12 honors. He was also named the Big 12 Defensive Player of the Year by league coaches. Anudike-Uzomah tied for the national lead in forced fumbles per game (0.46), while he ranked 11th nationally and second in the Big 12 in sacks per game (0.85). His 11 total sacks tied for fifth in school history overall and tied for second by a sophomore. Anudike-Uzomah tied a school record with four sacks against TCU. He had two sacks against TCU taken away due to fumbles that were recovered on K-State’s side of the original line of scrimmage. If he had finished with six sacks, it would have tied the FBS single-game record. He is the son of Felix and Cynthia Uzomah. Has one brother, Celestine, and two sisters, Destiny and Vanessa. He is majoring in social sciences.
