Gabriela Jaquez

Gabriela Jaquez arrived at UCLA for the 2022-2023 season as one of the nation’s top 20 basketball recruits. Jaquez averaged 24.2 points, 13.2 rebounds, 3.5 steals and 2.1 assists over her career at Camarillo (California) High School. She put up an impressive 34.2 points per game and 15.7 rebounds during her senior season. Jaquez was as named to the 2022 McDonald’s All-American Team, and she shared co-MVP honors of the McDonald’s All-American game with teammate Kiki Rice. She was also a Jordan Brand All-American and won the Nik e Girls EYBL National Championship in 2021 with Cal Stars. Jaquez’s brother, Jaime Jaquez, stars for the Bruins men’s basketball team. Her parents are Angela and Jaime Jaquez. Off the court, she enjoys heading to the beach and hanging out with her friends.
