As a College Recruit

Garrett Sundra has legit size as he is pushing 7-foot-0, but it’s is the fluidity and skill that makes him so interesting. Sundra is a good run and jump athlete for a player his size. He moves well and has fluidity in his hips. You want to see him rebound it better, and that may come with more strength. More strength will also most likely help him when it comes to his core balance and setting his base on offense. There is touch there with projected range on the jump shot. You wonder how he will develop laterally, but he does have any understanding of defensive rotations and what spots to be in. He plays on loaded high school and travel ball teams, so in game reps will continue to be big for him. There is an upside where size and a nice skill set. His best basketball could be ahead.
