Gavin Byers

A former On3 Consensus three-star recruit, Gavin Byers attended Colleyville (Texas) Colleyville Heritage and was a three-sport athlete, participating in football, basketball and track and field. In football, he earned all-district three times. He was a key contributor for the basketball team. He did shot put and discus during the spring and made regionals in both disciplines. After helping on special teams as a freshman in 2020, Byers made eight starts in 2021. He is the son of Rhonda and Rodrick Byers. He has two siblings named Landon and Olivia. Byers is a pre-business major.
