ESPN announces Hannah Hidalgo, Flau’Jae Johnson, Kiki Iriafen as subjects of Full Court Press sequel

Notre Dame signee Hannah Hidalgo is another five-star prospect in the Class of 2023 that has a lengthy list of accomplishments. Along with her status as one of the most heavily recruited players in the country, the 5-foot-6 point guard was the 2021-22 Courier Post South Jersey Player of the Year, 2022 Olympic Conference Player of the Year and a member of the 2022 All-Conference First Team. Through her first three years at Paul VI, Hidalgo averaged 21.5 points, 4.7 rebounds and 5.4 steals. She upped those numbers in the 2022-2023 season with 28.8 points, 5.1 assists, 6.4 rebounds and 7.3 steals to earn Gatorade New Jersey Player of the Year honors. On the USA Basketball front, Hidalgo was a member of the 2022 U17 National Team where she helped lead USA Basketball to a 7-0 record and a gold medal in the 2022 FIBA U17 World Cup. She averaged 7.7 points, 2.1 rebounds and 2.6 steals per game while overseas in Debrecen, Hungary.
