The most electric running back in the 2025 cycle, with the ability to be a game-changer in the passing game. Possesses elite burst and effortless movement skills. Measured in at 5-foot-10, 182 pounds at the On3 Elite Series prior to his senior season. . Transfers his outstanding top end speed onto the field in a functional way. A threat to take it to the house on any touch. A light, springy mover who shifts gears and changes directions at full speed. Displays outstanding vision. Reads blocks and bursts through the line to the second level. The game moves slow for him at the prep level. Runs through contact and shows balance that belies his size. Showcased advanced pass catching skills during the summer prior to his senior season. Has the skill level to legitimately line up at receiver. A massive mismatch out of the backfield when covered by linebackers. Registers as a high end athlete with elite speed on the track and in the combine setting. Won state titles in the 100 and 200 meters as a sophomore with times of 10.57 seconds and 21.43 seconds, respectively. Highly productive over his high school career. Rushed for 2,080 yards and 37 touchdowns on 13.2 yards per carry as a junior. Has a smaller frame and will need to continue adding good mass in order to carry a substantial load at the next level. Ceiling as a true every down back will be determined by his ability to put on weight while maintaining his athleticism. Has a later birthday for the cycle, turning 17 years old in late May of his junior year.

Harlem Berry moved up slightly to No. 11 overall in the updated 2025 On300 and now checks in as the top running back prospect, just a few spots ahead of Ousmane Kromah (No. 14). We love Berry’s sophomore film. His burst, play speed and ability to change directions on a dime are arguably the best in the cycle. He backed that up with a great track season, culminating in state titles in 100 meters (10.57 seconds) and 200 meters (21.43 seconds). Also of note, Berry is currently checking in at around 180 pounds up from around 160 as a freshman. His size is one of the primary areas we’re monitoring as he will likely need to continue adding good mass to hold on to the top spot in what looks to be a good running back group.

Harlem Berry is the early No. 1 player in The Boot for the 2025 class, which is beginning to take shape as pass by the midway point of the regular season. Berry, a lanky 5-foot-11, 170-pounder for St. Martin's, is the focal point of the offense as a running back, receiver and even quarterback. While the explosive RB was largely held in check by a sound Riverside defense that flew to the football, Berry still managed 109 yards on 24 touches. The sophomore just eclipsed the Century mark rushing in the loss on Friday night. Berry had a strong showing at LSU camp this summer when he clocked a sub-4.4 second 40 and showed his elusiveness as a pass-catcher out of the backfield. Against one of the state's best 2A defenses, Berry was forced to create much of his yardage on his own; he has exceptional short-area quickness and acceleration to pick up chunk yardage consistently and can cut on a dime as good as any back in the state right now -- if not better. Early on, Berry flashes elements of Joe McKnight in his game.

2025 running back Harlem Berry made waves on at LSU's elite skills camp Friday, cracking the sub-4.4 second mark in the 40-yard dash, before impressing in field drills. The rising sophomore looked like a natural pass-catcher out of the backfield. He received special attention from head coach Brian Kelly. Berry already shows some promising signs as a high school athlete, rushing for over 2,000 yards and 30 touchdowns in addition winning the 100-meter state title as a freshman.
