As a College Recruit

The takeaway from watching Isaiah Denis is the speed. At a lengthy 6-foot-6, Denis has unique speed with the ball in his hands. He is confident. He is going to need to continue adding weight, he gets knocked off his line relatively easy getting downhill. He has a solid release on his shot, no matter the range. He needs to tighten his footwork and get his balance points more consistent with his shot. He is inconsistent at this point, still learning the reads on ball. He plays at one speed, and while that speed is fast, it can get him in trouble at times. Like to see him learn to be more of a threat off the ball. He has upside on defense with his size, length, and twitchy athleticism. There is upside there, and a lot of his growth could happen with continued reps. His confidence exudes.
