Isaiah Miranda played his way onto the national radar in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic. His exposure through grassroots events with RI Elite brought two distinct waves of offers in 2021. Early interest from schools near his hometown of Pawtucket, Rhode Island, turned into national interest and an eventual transfer to Southern California Academy, a top program in the Los Angeles area. “Isaiah is capable of dominating a basketball game in at least five different ways and there aren’t many players in the country who can do that,” Antonio Anderson, his former coach at Commonwealth Academy coach, said.
