Isiah Canion
Georgia Tech
Recruiting Class of 2024
As a College Recruit
Do-it-all player with the size, athleticism and coordination to develop into one of the top outside receivers in the 2024 cycle. Has a big frame and very good size, measuring in a shade under 6-foot-3 and around 190 pounds and very large 10.5-inch hands. Has good length, with a 6-foot-6 wing-span. Registered as one of the top overall athletes during the spring camp circuit. Played all over the field for Warner Robins as a junior, lining up at quarterback, wide receiver and cornerback. Moved to quarterback during the playoffs and led his team to a state title appearance in Class 5A. A big, naturally coordinated athlete. Has the burst and speed to run by cornerbacks on vertical routes. Shows natural ball skills despite his lower level of production. Typically catches the ball away from his body and shows the capacity to make high-level adjustments to poorly thrown balls. Has the agility to develop into a strong route-runner with more polish. Saw the majority of his production as a receiver late in the regular season and looked to have turned a corner. A coordinated athlete who has the capacity to add skills. Finished his junior season with 26 catches for 395 yards and six touchdowns. Passed for 584 yards and 5 more scores. Also picked off two passes as a cornerback. Relatively undeveloped as a receiver and will need to take advantage of critical in-game reps as a senior to continue his development prior to college, but has shown considerable physical upside. Also plays baseball.
