Thinner-framed passer with impressive arm talent that keeps his cool when facing pressure. Has the arm strength to drive the ball downfield and into tight windows. Possesses the functional movement skills to escape the pass rush. Three-level passer who has the ability to layer the football. Productive player last season throwing for 2,220 yards and 27 touchdowns to 5 interceptions. Can be inconsistent with his ball placement, but showed flashes of improvement in camp and 7-on-7 settings this spring. Should develop quicker processing with more reps in the same offense after playing in three different systems. Played his freshman season at Liberty HS before transferring to IMG Academy for his sophomore season. Transferred back to California and played his junior season at Pittsburg HS. On the older end of the spectrum for quarterbacks in his class. Has the physical tools and arm talent to become the face of an elite-level power five program.
Like Christian Hackenberg, Jaden Rashada is a top arm talent with the ability to drive the football to all areas of the field. Both showed pure passing ability at the high school level. Hackenberg had a more filled out frame at the same stage.

Jaden Rashada flashes strong arm, inconsistency at Elite 11 Finals
Miami commit Jaden Rashada continued to be up and down on Day 3 at the Elite 11 Finals finishing 10 of 19 with no touchdowns or no interceptions. Rashada flashed his plus arm talent over the course of the week, but is still developing with his accuracy and feel for the game.

Jaden Rashada has up and down weekend at Overtime OT7
Jaden Rashada flashed his considerable arm talent at times at OT7, showing the ability to flick the ball downfield with ease. He can flick the ball 60-plus yards with ease. We also saw him layer some passes over the middle of the field and in the end zone. With that said, there’s still some areas to improve from a consistency and accuracy perspective. His consistency and accuracy wavered a bit on a throw-by-throw basis.
