Jaelyne Matthews' stepfather, John Fowler, understands why he's developed into one of the best football players in the country. “Jaelyne has the cheat code,” Fowler told NJ.com. “God gave him this height, this weight, and the gift. He’s blessed. People say stuff like that all the time. No, he’s blessed.” Along with having the size and talent, Toms River North coach Dave Oizerowitz said Matthews is not afraid to put on a show. “He has a huge personality. He’s gregarious, and engaging,” Toms River North coach Dave Oizerowitz said. “A very social person who really lights up the room when he walks in it.”
