Janiah Barker

Janiah Barker arrived at Texas A&M for the 2022-2023 season as the No. 3 recruit in the country. Barker is considered the highest-ranked recruit to ever sign with the Aggies. Barker was a WBCA, McDonalds and Jordan Brand All-American during her senior season at Montverde Academy. She averaged 14.5 points and 6.5 rebounds in the All-America games. Barker led Montverde Academy to its first-ever GEICO High School National Championship, scoring eight points and a game-high 12 rebounds in the title game. Barker averaged 17.6 points and 8.9 rebounds during her senior campaign. On the international stage, she won gold medals with the U16 National Team and the 2021 3x3 U18 World Cup squad. Baker has already been active in NIL, agreeing to representation with Excel Sports Managment.
