Personal Life
Jaquan Brisker is driven to live up to what his older brother told him. Tale’ Brisker was shot and killed in 2015 in Prairie View, Texas. Tale’ was 19 years old and Brisker took it very hard. One of the last things Tale’ told Brisker was that he could make it, and Brisker decided to make those words become reality. He worked to become a two-time captain and two-time MVP at Pittsburgh Gateway. But he received only one Division I offer out of high school from Toledo. He decided to attend Lackawanna County Community College where he played for two seasons. He was a JUCO All-American in 2018 and helped Lackawanna to an undefeated record. He moved on to Penn State where he played in 13 games in 2019. He started all nine games in 2020 and earned Pro Football Focus All-American first team honors. Brisker said he returned for the 2021 season because of the 0-5 start the team had in 2020. He said he couldn’t leave on that note. He is the son of Mijohni Brisker and Jawaan Davis. He had seven siblings. Brisker is majoring in communication arts and sciences.
