Pass rush specialist with some of the best quickness and closing speed among edge rushers in the 2023 cycle. Lived in the backfield as a junior, having one of the more productive seasons among blue-chip EDGE prospects. Finished with 38 tackles for loss and a remarkable 28.5 sacks in 2021. Shows plus bend and a high-end first-step. Fires off the snap. Also shows the curvilinear movement to bend and dip around the edge while maintaining speed. Closes quickly and finishes with authority. Plays with a high effort level in pursuit. Also plays basketball. A bit undersized for the position, measuring around 6-foot-2.5, 213 pounds with a 32.5-inch arm prior to his senior season. Will need to add mass while maintaining his athleticism once he gets in a college strength program.
