Jayda Coleman

Jayda Coleman was considered the No. 1 recruit in the country coming out of the Class of 2020. She was the 2019-20 Gatorade National Softball Player of the Year and also claimed the honors for the state of Texas. She started all 60 games, led the team with 20 stolen bases and hit .444 as a freshman at Oklahoma, earning first-team All-Big 12 honors and All-America recognition. She hit .424 in 2022, earning first team NFCA All-America and all-league honors. Then in 2023, Coleman was named Big 12 Player of the Year after she ranked seventh in the nation with a .566 on-base percentage.
