John Bol is a unique athletic specimen. At over 7-feet tall, his agility and his ability to move are not like other players his size. He has defensive upside as a weak side rim protector and someone who can move his feet when switching along the perimeter. Bol will need to add strength; he is currently very thin. He gets moved off his spots on both ends of the floor easily. The added strength could help him become a better post defender and finish better in the paint. Offensively, Bol is at his best with put backs and in lob situations. His offensive game is pretty limited right now; he has touch but needs to develop his range and some low post moves. However, his height allows him to be a vertical lob threat, and he has good hands and dexterity in the air. Bol has an intriguing upside. His flashes are starting to produce now with more strength and continued minutes and reps there is a lot of ceiling to fill.
