Smooth cornerback with high-level length and instincts for the position. Measured at over 6-feet, 177 pounds with a 6-foot-5 wing-span prior to his senior year. Tests as a good athlete with a 4.69 second electronically-timed 40-yard dash. Surrendered few if any completions as a junior. Highly technical as a man-press corner. His length allows for effectively jamming and disrupting receivers off the line. Patient and does a great job staying in-phase. Makes plays on the ball when targeted. Blanketed receivers at Under Armour’s Columbus camp prior to his senior season. Also played some nickel and safety as a junior. May not have the pure top-end speed of some other top corner prospect, but has compensatory length.
