Scouting Journals for Kaden Saunders

Small, shifty slot receiver with some of the best quickness in the 2022 cycle. Darts out of his stance. Presents a tough cover for opposing cornerbacks within the first few yards of the route. Likely projects as a pure slot receiver given his size (around 5-foot-10, 160 pounds) and skill set. Effective working on underneath routes and picking up yards after the catch. Quicker than fast. Saw his production dip some as a senior with a much lower yards per catch than other top receiver prospects - in part due to his high school offense and quarterback situation. Will need to continue getting stronger and add some mass to his small frame.
