Kadyn Proctor
Alabama Crimson Tide
As a Recruit
Personal Life
Kadyn Proctor was already a well-known name as a former five-star recruit coming out of Des Moines (Iowa) Southeast Polk High School. And he garnered even more attention when he started as a true freshman at Alabama. But Proctor cemented his status as a nationally known name when he transferred to Iowa… and then back to Alabama leading up to the 2024 season. “I was sitting in my apartment by myself,” Proctor said about his time at Iowa. “I roomed by myself up there, and I just starting thinking about it, like those are friendships that are going to last a long, long time. I knew Iowa wasn't the place for me within a month and a half.” Regardless, those that are close to Proctor describe him as a once-in-a-lifetime type of player. "Kadyn Proctor is a generational talent," said Jon Cochran, Proctor's offensive line coach at Southeast Polk High School. "I'm not sure the state will ever see anyone of his size and athleticism again."
