Kaidon Salter

Kaidon Salter was a four-star recruit coming out of football hotbed Cedar Hill (Texas) High School in the 2021 recruiting class. Salter signed with Tennessee in 2021 and took part in the Volunteers' spring practices before transferring to Liberty. He redshirted in the 2021 season and saw action in eight games in 2022. Despite missing time with an injury, Salter threw for 1,088 yards and eight touchdowns while also rushing for 285 yards. Salter then emerged in 2023 as one of the top dual-threat quarterbacks in the country. He threw for 2,431 yards and 29 touchdowns in the regular season while also racking up 899 yards rushing and 11 touchdowns. "His arm is elite," Liberty coach Jamey Chadwell said. "This is probably the first time we've been around somebody in a while that has that type of strength."
