Jumbo tight end with the ability to present a tangible receiving threat from in-line. Very tall and filled out. Measured in at around 6-foot-6, 255 pounds after his senior season. Has long arms. Size is Power 4 ready. A productive two-way player on Friday nights, lining up at tight end and defensive end for his high school. Primarily lines up in-line at tight end. Frame and movement skills present a physical mismatch for defenses as a pass-catcher. Gets good releases off the line of scrimmage. Shows the ability to stretch the field down the seam. Has good play speed. Comes down with catches without breaking his stride. Showed good blocking ability at the Navy All-American Bowl. Hauled in 44 catches for 729 yards and nine touchdowns as a senior, while notching 13.5 tackles for loss and 8.5 sacks on defense. Also averaged 13.5 points per game in basketball as a junior. Projects as a true in-line tight end with the physical makeup to have an early contribution.
