Broad-shouldered and barrel-chested with big hands. At his best as a drive blocker in the run game. Plays with consistent toughness and physicality. Strong as a down blocker and drives his feet. Displays the ability to locate and connect with authority when pulling. Flat-footed in a three-point stance with good ankle flexion. Constantly looks to hit and punish defenders. An average athlete for the position. Has a tendency to bend at the waist, lunge and cross his feet in pass protection at offensive tackle.
