Leighton Jones

Dominant wrestler who brings his understanding of leverage and physicality to the gridiron as a two-way monster at defensive end and tight end. Totaled 41 tackles, 9 tackles for loss and 5 sacks during his junior season. Phenomenal body composition and frame. Will add easy weight and be a comfortable 300-pounder at the next level. Solid hand usage and does a tremendous job of shooting his hands inside in order to maintain control. Tenacious as a blocker and pass rusher. Can see some of the foot speed and movement skills when chasing backside. Will need to clean up footwork and learn the nuances of pass protection as an offensive lineman. Has all the physical tools and athletic ability in the world to become a dominant interior offensive lineman at the next level and beyond. On the older end of the spectrum for the 2023 recruiting cycle.
