Luke Montgomery
Ohio State Buckeyes
Personal Life
Luke Montgomery started his high school career as a defensive lineman and moved to the offensive line during his junior season of high school. But despite it being his first year on the offensive line, Montgomery excelled. He was named the 2021 Northwest Ohio all-district D-I lineman of the year and first-team all-Ohio. His coach, Stefan Adams, says Montgomery’s best football is still ahead of him. “The sky is the limit with him,” Adams said. “He’s only going to get better and better.” Away from football, Montgomery enjoys fishing, playing pickleball and hanging out with his friends. He plans on majoring in science. His parents are Christina and Mike Montgomery. His younger brother, Ryan Montgomery, is a prospect in the Class of 2025. He has two other siblings, Nash and Sadie.

Luke Montgomery has advanced movement skills and coordination. His multi-positional versatility and developmental arc remind us of Zack Martin. Both Montgomery and Martin began as defensive linemen before fully converting to the offensive line where they are able to play multiple spots along the front at the college and potentially pro level.
