Marcus Harrison
As a College Recruit
Jumbo offensive lineman with flexibility and run blocking chops. One of the bigger offensive linemen in the cycle, measuring at over 6-foot-7, 335 pounds with 33.75 inch arms and 9.75 hands prior to his senior season. Primarily lines up at left tackle, but bounces around the line on occasion. Flexible in his stance, lining up with a flat back. Stays low off the snap. Does a great job playing low while blocking much shorter defenders. Sinks his hips and drops his weight on contact. A grinder as a run blocker. Shows good balance. Good hand usage in pass protection, neutralizing pass rushers’ moves. Also throws in track and field, posting a 51-5.5 foot shot put toss as a junior, an elite mark. Will need to adjust to the uptick in competition coming to the SEC from Buffalo, New York. Foot quickness is solid for his size, but can improve in that regard. Can also improve his overall play strength and finishing ability relative to his size. Could slide inside at the next level given his skill set as a run blocker.
