Micah Strickland

Micah Strickland prides himself on being a complete defensive back, but he relishes the challenge of being locked in man-on-man battles. "I love man coverage. It defines you as a defensive player," Strickland told Dave Campbell's Texas Football. 'I am good at man coverage. I have really long arms, so I use that a lot in man. I am also solid in zone coverage. I am very physical, good in my backpedal and make plays on the ball." Strickland is a three-sport athlete in high school. He also plays basketball and competes in multiple track and field events. He ran a 10.89-second 100-meter dash as a junior in high school and has triple jumped 45-plus feet.
