As a Recruit
Personal Life
Omarion Miller graduated from Vivian (Louisiana) North Caddo as a four-star recruit and the No. 37 receiver prospect in the 2023 recruiting class, according to the On3 Industry Rating. He finished his high school career with 154 receptions for 3,492 yards and 43 touchdowns in 30 games, averaging 116.4 yards per game and 22.7 yards per catch. North Caddo offensive coordinator Reagan Smith, who has coached some impressive prospects like Terrace Marshall and others through the years, says Miller is among the best he's ever worked with. "He might have a little swagger, but he’s not in anybody’s face or acting like he’s better than anybody," Smith said. "He plays with us, not over us. He’s still really good. There’s this calm, collected, focused drive to compete, but not to be crazy. He has everything you want and athleticism that jumps off the charts.” For much of the recruiting process, Miller was committed to Nebraska, but he decommitted and eventually signed with Colorado after coaching changes in Lincoln and Boulder. He was also committed to LSU at one point during the recruiting process before a coaching change also occurred in Baton Rouge.
