It didn't take long for Sheffield High School coach Edward Kuykendoll to get an idea of what he had in Radarious Jackson after he transferred to the program following his sophomore year. "Radarious Jackson is a freakish athlete – and you could see that the second he stepped on the field for us in practice," Kuykendoll told 247Sports. "A freakish player. He is tough, physical, smart. He's a playmaker. He's not a one-trick pony. He can do pretty much everything, run all the routes. Even when the ball is in his hand, he's turned into a running back. It's kind of hard to find those types of receivers that actually, you can throw a screen to them and they can take it to the house, or a reverse. His yards after the catch are what makes him special." Jackson finished his junior season in high school with more than 1,800 total yards offense – including rushing for 11.8 yards per carry and throwing for seven touchdowns. He was even a threat on defense with more than 60 tackles and eight interceptions in 2023. "There isn't anything this kid can't do," Kuykendoll said.
