As a College Recruit

The most productive and athletic wide receiver in high school football as a sophomore. Turned in an utterly dominant season in 2022. Measured around 6-foot, 160 pounds in the spring following his sophomore season. One of the fastest wideouts in the nation, regardless of class. Posted a scintillating 10.49 second 100-meter time early on in his sophomore track season. A legitimate state title contender in four track events - the 100, 200, 400 meters and high jump. Shows the ability to harness his elite speed on the football field. A big-time deep threat who easily runs past defensive backs. Has high-end change of direction and breaks off cornerbacks with agility within his routes. Caught 88 passes for 1,641 yards and 24 touchdowns, ran for 700 yards and 15 touchdowns on 57 rushes (12.3 yards per carry), returned two punts for touchdowns and passed for a score while leading his high school to a state title as a sophomore. Was named Alabama's Gatorade Player of the Year following the historic season. Was the On3 MVP at Under Armour's Atlanta camp prior to his junior season. Looks like one of the top pass-catchers in high school football regardless of class and is the top wide receiver prospect from Alabama since Henry Ruggs III. Will need to continue adding strength and mass to his slender frame.

Ryan Williams' explosive athleticism, ability to stretch the field and Jameson Williams. Ryan Williams was more productive and established as an after the catch threat than Jameson Williams at the same stage.

Ryan Williams a Top Performer at Under Armour All-America Game

Charles Power

Jordan Ross arguably put together the best week of practice among the EDGE players on hand. The 6-foot-4.5, 220-pounder showed the most juice off the edge for Team Fire over the course of the week. Ross combines a nice frame with dynamic first-step quickness and overall athleticism. He’s a loose and fluid mover who has the flexibility to dip and bend around the corner. The future Vol was very active in team drills throughout practice and won 1-on-1 reps at a high rate. The total skill set he put on display points to a high developmental ceiling. Ross ranks as the No. 38 overall prospect in the On300 rankings.

Ryan Williams debuts as No. 3 overall prospect in initial 2025 On300

There is not a current skill prospect who is more athletic and productive than wide receiver Ryan Williams (No. 3). The Alabama commit was absolutely dominant as a sophomore while leading his Saraland (Ala.) High team to a state title. Williams’ 2022 stat-line was absurd for any player, let along a sophomore. He caught 88 passes for 1,641 yards and 24 touchdowns, ran for 700 yards and 15 touchdowns on 57 rushes (12.3 yards per carry), returned two punts for touchdowns and passed for a score. Williams is not just dominant on Friday nights – he was the On3 MVP at Under Armour’s Atlanta camp last month after a stellar showing where he scored around 10 touchdowns in 1-on-1’s and posted the fasted 40-yard dash on hand (electronic 4.41). He’s also a track star and has a shot at winning state in four events. So far in 2023, Williams has posted a scintillating 10.49 second mark in the 100 meters along with 21.28 seconds in the 200 meters, a 48.19 400 meter mark and a 6-8 high jump. At 6-foot, 160-pounds, Williams will need to continue adding mass and strength to his frame, but there are few if any who can rival his resume as a football player and verified athlete to this point.
