Ashdown coach Matt Richardson describes Shamar Easter as a “man among boys.” In fact, Easter was so dominating as a junior-high player that Arkansas indicated it was going to recruit him heavily and offered him before he played a down of varsity football. “He’s just God-gifted,” Richardson told the Arkansas Democrat-Gazette. He has big hands, big features that’s why on the highlight he has some one-handed stuff. He can separate. I was at Arkansas when Matt Jones was there.
