Shawn Simmons

As a College Recruit

Shawn Simmons has a basketball player's frame. At 6-6/6-7, he has broad shoulders and long arms; his frame looks like it will take quickly to a college strength program. Simmons is a straight-line driver from the wing. He needs to become a more consistent jump shoot to be a threat. He also needs to develop his counters off the bounce when he is attacking the basket. Simmons is a good athlete; he has a natural explosion at the rim. He also has an upside on the defensive end. Simmons has some quick-twitch to move his feet but also the length to shoot the passing lanes. A very solid player with some very nice tools to build on.
