Personal Life
Originally from Oswego (Illinois) East High School, Sierra Brooks is one of the top returning gymnasts in the country. At Michigan, she’s won a national championship, won the 2022 Big Ten championship and played a part in two Big Ten regular-season championships. Brooks is also a six-time WCGA first-team All-American – all-around (2021,) vault (2022), uneven bars (2021, 2022), balance beam (2021) and floor (2021). She’s also been named a regular season All-American seven times. Brooks won the Big Ten Gymnast of the Year in 2022. As a junior in 2022, Brooks rerecorded two 10.0s on the vault, including a perfect score to win the individual title at the Big Ten Championships. With her club – Aspire Gymnastics Academy – she is a six-time Junior Olympic national qualifier. Brooks also won the vault, beam, floor and the all-around at the 2019 Junior Olympic nationals. Her parents are David and Shannon Brooks. She is enrolled in the Ross School of Business at Michigan.
