Spencer Holstege

Spencer Holstege was an On3 Consensus three-star prospect coming out of Grand Rapids (Michigan) South Christian High School in the 2019 recruiting cycle. Holstege picked Purdue over offers from Toledo, Miami of Ohio, Western Michigan, Central Michigan and others. He first made an impact for Purdue in the COVID-19-shortened season, starting in five of six games and earning honorable mention All-Big Ten recognition. He started all 13 games for the Boilermakers in 2021, along with graduating with a bachelor’s degree and earning academic all-league honors. He continued his role as a starter for Purdue in 2022 before entering the Transfer Portal after the season was over.
