Tae Harris

Tae Harris has always given 100%. This includes his first football practice ever when he was a little kid. "I went out there headfirst without a helmet," Harris told Inside the Hashes. "The coaches right away said, 'This kid is going to be a safety and play on the defensive side of the ball. Ever since, it's just taken off." Harris said he also gives 100% as a leader. "Leadership is important," he said. "I try to communicate as much as I can. I try to help out any way possible. I'm not really ever trying to put anybody down. My main focus is winning and doing everything it takes to make that happen." Harris recorded 44 tackles in his junior season at Cedartown High School to go with three forced fumbles and six pass breakups. He plans to participate in both football and in track and field in college. Away from football, he's also a sprinter, running the 100-meter dash with times in the 10.7-range.
