Talitha Diggs

Talitha Diggs has running in her blood. She is the daughter of four-time 800-meter Olympian Joetta Clark Diggs. So, it was no surprise that she excelled on the youth and high school levels long before she arrived at Florida. Diggs is a five-time Pennsylvania state champion and holds the state records in 400 and 300 meters. At Florida, Diggs won the 2022 NCAA Outdoor and Indoor championships in the 400 meters. She then went on to win the 2022 World Championship gold medal in the 4x400 relay and the USA Outdoor Track and Field Championships 400 meters to qualify for the 2022 World Athletics Championships. Diggs is only the second woman in NCAA history to win the USA championships, NCAA outdoor, and NCAA indoor championships in the same season. She is the fifth fastest collegiate 400 meter runner in history having run 49.99 to win the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
