Tamari Key

Tamari Key made an immediate impact for the Tennessee women’s basketball squad. In her freshman season, she recorded 86 blocked shots to tie Candace Parker for the fifth-most in a season in UT history and the second-most ever by a Lady Vol freshman. As a sophomore in 2020-2021, she was named to the SEC All-Defensive team with the 8th most blocks in school history. Then in 2021 and 2022, she blocked a UT-record 119 shots to surpass Kelley Cain’s old mark of 113 and lead the NCAA with the No. 4 total in SEC history. She earned multiple all-league honors after her junior season.
