Tate Ratledge

On the field, Tate Ratledge is known as one of the most intense players in the country. So much so that coach Kirby Smart called him one of the most passionate players he's ever coached. But teammates love Ratledge for his softer side off the field. Smart said Ratledge has an irresistible charm and "tremendous sense of humor." “You have to be that guy sometimes, it brings people up,” Ratledge said. “Especially during camp when you’re tired, you’re worn out, and you’re hurting.” During the 2023 season, Ratledge was named a second-team All-American by the Associated Press, along with first-team All-SEC honors.
