Scouting Journals for Terrion Burgess

Terrion Burgess has a great frame, it’s projectable with fluidity and great length. And that is what makes his game so intriguing. Listed in the 6-8 range, he is a fluid athlete, fast in straight lines and able to slide his feet laterally. He has burst and a looseness that projects toward switchability on the defensive end. Offensively, Burgess has some touch. However his shot can get flat and his balance is inconsistent. He is at his best offensively in transition. He fills the lanes and can get above the rim. Over the last year or so there has not been much development. Would like to see him add to his handle, be able to create in the half court, and straighten out the jump shot. His ceiling remains high because of his physical gifts and would like to see him continuing taking steps toward consistent production.
