Former professional football player and Georgia Bulldog great Terrence Edwards trains Travis Smith and isn't afraid to compare him to some of the best pass-catchers to come out of the Southeast in the past few generations. "He’s big, fast and powerful like Julio Jones," Edwards said. "He's the complete package – height, speed and tracking ability." Smith, who was an Atlanta Journal-Constitution all-metro pick in 2023, is just starting to reach his potential, according to Westlake coach Rico Zackery. “He could be an inside guy or an outside guy,” Zackery told DawgNation. “He could be a big target in the middle of the field and he’s only going to get bigger. He’s already 200 pounds and he's fast – one of the fastest on the team. He could be 220 or 230 pounds by the time he gets to the next level. Easily. The way that he runs and the way that he gets in and out of breaks he could be a lot of different things at the next level.”
