Tyler Miller
As a College Recruit
Wide-bodied offensive lineman with translatable length, movement skills and power. Measured in at a shade under 6-foot-5 and around 320 pounds prior to his senior season. Has elite length and a big frame with 34.75-inch arms and 10.25-inch hands. Added considerable mass to his frame as a junior. Lines up at left tackle for his high school team. At his best as a run blocker. A functional mover with good ankle flexion. Shows natural power at the point of attack. Has the ability to overpower defensive linemen. Generates a head of steam and creates a push. Dangerous at the second level. Has potential flexibility with his size and movement skills. More of an ideal projection on the inside due to his advanced run blocking skills. Needs to hone his technique as a pass blocker in addition to the consistency of his pad level and finishing skills.
Reminds Us Of
Tyler Miller's size, length, ability as a run blocker and positional versatility reminds us of Dan Moore. Miller is a better athlete at the same stage.
