Tyler Smith

An unheralded prospect out of the high school hotbed of North Texas, Smith was a highly-productive player for Forth Worth (Texas) North Crowley. He earned third-team all-state one season. At Tulsa, he redshirted his freshman season but started the final four games of the year. He then earned freshman All-American accolades in 2020 before earning second-team all-conference honors in 2021. He is the son of parents are Woodrow Jones and Patricia Smith. He is majoring in finance.
