As a College Recruit

A big, light-footed offensive lineman with nasty block-finishing tendencies. Dominant player for one of the top high school programs in Northeast Louisiana. Excels at the second level. Uses his athleticism and coordination to seek out linebackers in the run game. Locks on to defenders and works to finish the block, often planting them in the turf. Shows reactive quickness both as a run blocker and in his pass set. Has struggled with length at times on the camp circuit. Could play either guard or tackle at the next level.

Will Campbell paves the way for a big night on the ground

Charles Power

Will Campbell had a strong showing as a run blocker from his left tackle spot for Neville against St. Thomas More and fellow LSU commit Walker Howard. The 6-foot-6, 290-pounder was able to get a strong push in the run game and helped create big holes for some of Allen's long runs. Campbell moves very well as a puller at the second level and showed some tenacity as a block finisher. He's also refined and technical in his pass set.Campbell is not the longest as an offensive tackle, but that didn't have an effect in this game as he was blocking smaller defensive linemen.
