2024 NCAA Softball Tournament bracket, schedule revealed
With conference tournaments settled, the final part of the college softball season has arrived with the 2024 NCAA Softball Tournament. That includes the bracket which, as of this evening, has become official with its release.
Texas led the way in the field as the No. 1 overall seed for the first time in program history. Oklahoma, who is going for a fourth consecutive national championship, sits at No. 2 overall while Oklahoma State also cracked the top-five out of the Big 12. Three more from the Southeastern Conference in Tennessee at No. 3, Florida at No. 4, and Missouri at No. 7 will also host Regionals and Super Regionals. UCLA at No. 6 and No. 8 then rounded out the hosting sites from the Pac-12.
The SEC had five more that will host regionals in the opening weekend in LSU, Georgia, Arkansas, Alabama, and Texas A&M. The ACC then joined the group with two hosts in Duke and Florida State. Finally, Louisiana out of the Sun Belt took the only site for the mid-majors as the No. 14
