Love her or hate her, Angel Reese has become a lightning-rod figure that is sure to get you talking. From her infamous ring-finger point in front of Caitlin Clark‘s face two years ago in the national title game to the plethora of records she has broken already in the WNBA, Reese moves the needle.

That much was clear when she signed a deal to join the Hershey Company as a brand ambassador.

That deal capitalized on her fanbase, which Reese has dubbed the “Reese’s Pieces.” The partnership with Reese’s made all too much sense, with hats T-shirts and hoodies available now at TheAngelReese.com.

“The connection between my name and the Reese’s brand was obvious, but it went deeper than that,” Reese said. “My fans started calling themselves ‘Reese’s Pieces,’ and after I kept seeing it on social, I started engaging with some of my fans about it.”

Angel Reese’s popularity has skyrocketed, in many ways, thanks to her early success in the WNBA, though she had quite a sizeable following even before she turned pro.

The accolades speak for themselves.

Already this season, Reese set a WNBA record with 15 straight double-doubles. She did so as a rookie. She also became the fastest player in WNBA history to reach 20 double-doubles in a season. She even became the first player in WNBA history to record back-to-back 20-rebound games.

Bottom line: Angel Reese is a superstar and she’ll likely have a sizeable following for her weekly podcast, “Unapologetically Angel.”
