Top 2025 recruit Bryn Martin has committed to Washington, she announced on Wednesday evening. The 6-foot shooting guard from Springboro (Ohio) High School chose the Huskies over  Louisville, Dayton, Ohio State, Kentucky, West Virginia, Miami, Clemson, Virginia Tech and Illinois.

“I definitely had a feeling as soon as I stepped on campus there last September,” Martin told On3. “I always had a feeling about that place. It’s like a gut feeling. The coaches there are incredible – Coach [Tina] Langley, all of the assistants, they’re incredible people. I know that their experience can get me where I want to go. She’s established such an amazing culture.”

Martin sees her skillset as a shooter fitting in perfectly with Washington’s play style.

“My ability to shoot the ball will really help me,” Martin told On3. “She wants to be able to play faster and get up the court, which is my type of style of play. I would say they definitely need some more shooters and so that’s where I feel like I come into play more. But honestly, the style of play they play, is very freestyle and very guard-heavy, which I really enjoy.”

The relationships she formed with the coaching staff, the style of play and the opportunities provided made the Huskies the perfect landing spot for Martin.

“At Washington, there’s so many opportunities, not only academically, but athletically. There’s so many opportunities for you to get better and grow and that’s why I chose Washington. I love my decision. I’m so glad and happy about my decision. I’m really excited to get on campus and do things there that haven’t been done before.”
