Caitlin Clark shows up to Big East tournament to support Butler

Where Caitlin Clark goes, plenty of eyeballs and media attention are sure to follow. And on Wednesday evening, the women’s basketball superstar rolled up to the 2025 Big East Tournament to support the Butler Bulldogs before they were facing off against the Providence Friars.
Here she is in one of the world’s most famous basketball arenas, Madison Square Garden.
Caitlin Clark improves her physicality
One of the significant headlines surrounding Caitlin Clark in her rookie season in the WNBA was the physicality she saw from opponents. It appears she’s been hard at work to make sure that isn’t an issue in Year 2.
A recent photo emerged on social media of Clark cheering on her alma mater of Iowa in the Big Ten Women’s Basketball Tournament on Friday. She looks to be flexing some serious muscle, as you can see below.
Clark put together one of the best rookies seasons ever seen in WNBA history to average 19.2 points, 8.4 assists and 5.7 rebounds per game. She led the Indiana Fever to its first playoff appearance in eight years, where it fell in the first round against the Connecticut Sun.

Clark set several records in her first season, including the overall league record for assists (337), points by a rookie (769) and 3-point field goals by a rookie (122). All this coming off of a year in which she surpassed the NCAA’s all-time scoring record, seeming to back up claims of her greatness.
The Fever have made several moves this offseason to bolster their roster, adding players such as DeWanna Bonner and Sophie Cunningham. They also re-signed Kelsey Mitchell, who averaged 19.2 points per game last year while shooting 40.2% from 3-point range.
The Fever also announced that they had hired Stephanie White as their next coach as they prepare to step into this new era. That in mind, Clark should only continue to improve and flex her muscles heading into her second year with the franchise.
