Caitlin Clark is taking her talents to the links. On Monday, the LPGA revealed the 2024 WNBA Rookie of the Year will participate in the Wednesday Pro-Am at The Annika, hosted by LPGA legend Annika Sorenstam, set to take place Nov. 13.

Clark is a brand ambassador for Gainbridge, which is the presenting sponsor of The Annika. The Indiana Fever superstar is thrilled to be a part of the event.

“I love golf so the opportunity to play in the Pro-Am for a tournament with a legend like Annika Sorenstam’s name on it is so exciting,” Clark said. “Gainbridge is a leader in supporting women’s sports and that’s clear through their commitment to me, this event, Billie Jean King and Parity Week.

“I’m looking forward to seeing all the LPGA players on the driving range, being part of the Women’s Leadership Summit and, of course, teeing it up in the Pro-Am with Annika.”

Caitlin Clark has earned an afternoon on the greens. The former Iowa standout started all 40 regular season games for the Fever this season, averaging 19.2 points, 5.7 rebounds and 8.4 assists per game while shooting 41.7% from the field and 34.4% from beyond the arc. Clark’s 8.4 assists per game were a league-high.

For her debut campaign efforts, she was named the WNBA Rookie of the Year, a four-time WNBA Rookie of the Month, three-time WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Week and WNBA Eastern Conference Player of the Month in August.

While the Pro-Am will provide Clark with a different pace of competition, it’ll be a competition no less. The ANNIKA will feature a field of 120 competing for a share of the $3.25 million purse, one of the largest purses on the LPGA Tour.

“We are thrilled to have Caitlin Clark join us at The ANNIKA driven by Gainbridge at Pelican in November during Parity Week, which celebrates and amplifies girls and women in sports and education,” said Group 1001 President and CEO Dan Towriss. “We look forward to bringing Caitlin and Annika together for the first time – two influential leaders in sports.”

“I have been following Caitlin’s career during college and now on the WNBA stage, and what she is doing to bring attention to women’s sports both on and off the court is outstanding,” said Annika. “I’m excited to meet Caitlin and for her to join us at Pelican Golf Club in November in what will be an exciting week for women’s sports.”
